STEP (Society for Training and Employment Promotion) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization established in 1999. It offers skill development and placement-linked training programs across India, especially focused on unemployed youth from rural, tribal, and minority backgrounds.

Anyone between the age of 18 to 35 years who is unemployed or underemployed can apply. Priority is often given to:

  • School/college dropouts

  • Women and minority candidates

  • Youth from rural and tribal areas

  • Economically disadvantaged individuals

STEP offers training in high-demand sectors, including:

  • Apparel & Textile

  • Tourism & Hospitality

  • Healthcare

  • Logistics

  • Retail

  • Beauty & Wellness

  • IT-ITeS

  • BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance)

Yes. All programs are aligned with NSDC and respective Sector Skill Councils. Upon successful completion, trainees receive nationally recognized certificates.

While STEP cannot guarantee placement for every candidate, we have an 80%+ placement record. Placement support is provided through:

  • Interviews with hiring partners

  • Industry tie-ups

  • Post-placement tracking and counseling

Most programs are fully sponsored under Government schemes like:

  • DDU-GKY (MoRD)

  • Seekho Aur Kamao (Minority Affairs)

  • Hunar Se Rozgar Tak (Tourism Ministry)
